Jake Cody was contemplating a decision and grabbed three T-5,000 chips in the cutoff seat, almost having them cross the virtual line for a call. Christoforou almost looked excited and Cody gave it some more thought before folding, it would have cost half his stack.
After the hand was over, Mike McDonald asked if there was any specific rule as to when the chips cross the line and Christoforou replied "it was my mistake, I got a bit too excited."

Benny Spindler raised to 1,400 from the cutoff and Brian Yoon defended his big blind to see the flop . Yoon checked and then called a continuation bet worth 1,600 by Spindler. Both checked the on the turn and Yoon checked the river as well. Spindler now bet 5,000 and that enforced a fold.
Next to Spindler is yet another very dangerous player in Mustapha Kanit. The Italian won two EPT High Roller titles already and also came third at the €25,000 High Roller Event of the World Series of Poker Europe a week ao as well.
Among those that won't return to the table after busting their second bullet were Lily Kiletto and Anton Astapau while the other players below still have the option to buy in again.
Canadian Mike McDonald's deep run in the EPT12 Malta Main Event ended earlier this afternoon with a 27th-place finish for €17,840.
That's only a couple grand short of two bullets here in the High Roller and McDonald has already fired the first. He's dipped down to 38,000 after a slow start, but if things continue trending that way and he goes broke, he should have no problem coming up with the remaining scratch.
He won the €25,000 + 750 High Roller here at EPT Malta for €498,575 less than a week ago and actually became the EPT's all-time money leader overnight with $6,228,104 in earnings. This, until Steve O'Dwyer passed him with a win in the second High Roller on the schedule here.
