Holz Loses to Luca

Nível 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

With the board reading {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}, Fedor Holz bet out 205,000 from middle position. Ivan Luca on the button tanked for a bit before announcing a raise to 560,000. Holz called rather quickly, but mucked upon seeing Luca's {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

Alvarado and Kaverman Battling

Nível 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

JC Alvarado raised to 90,000 under the gun plus one and Byron Kaverman opted to three-bet to 255,000 from the cutoff. Alvarado folded and Kaverman raked in the pot.

On the very next hand Alvarado raised to 90,000 under the gun and Kaverman three-bet from the button to 205,000. The action folded back to Alvarado who moved all in, covering Kaverman by quite a margin. Kaverman snap-folded and Alvarado took down the pot.

Nível 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and Max Altergott on the button three bet to 260,000. Both blinds folded and action was back on Holz. He leaned forward a bit to see how much Altergott was playing, and moved in when he saw his country man had about 800,000 behind. Altergott instantly folded.

Igor Kurganov Eliminated in 15th Place (€80,800)

Igor Kurganov

Igor Kurganov has just been knocked out in 15th place, and his chips were pushed towards Australia's Michael Egan who now holds the chip lead.

Kurganov raised from the hijack to 90,000a and Egan called from the cutoff, followed by two calls from Max Altergott and Christoph Vogelsang in the blinds.

The flop brought out {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and both blinds checked to Kurganov who bet 250,000, only Egan called.

On the turn the {5-Diamonds} hit and Kurganov moved all in for 800,000 chips and Egan called.

Egan: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Kurganov: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The river brought the {Q-Clubs} and Kurganov hit the rail in 15th place after having re-entered into this event. After this hand Sylvain Loosli was moved to Table 2 in order to balance the remaining two tables.

Holz Loses a Bit to Vogelsang

Nível 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Fedor Holz and Christoph Vogelsang have been battling for quite a bit today. We must say that Vogelsang has had the best of Holz so far today, which may have something to do with the fact that Vogelsang has had position on Holz for most of the day.

Just now we saw Vogelsang open for 85,000 and Holz called from the big blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades} and both players checked. Holz bet out 140,000 and Vogelsang was quick to call.

The {K-Spades} fell on the river and Holz checked. Vogelsang cut out 255,000 and slid them forward. Holz thought about it for a bit before releasing his hand into the muck.
