De Melo Doubles Back Through Boika

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Immediately after being crippled at the hands of Dmitry Ivanov, Fatima Moreira de Melo moved all in for her last 7,700 from middle position. Action folded around to Aliaksei Boika in the big blind who dropped out calling chips.

de Melo: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Boika: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The board came down {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Spades}, giving de Melo a winning straight to the eight. She was able to score the double and now sits around 21,000 in chips.

Ivanov Doubles Through de Melo

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

The board read {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} when we found Russia's Dmitry Ivanov and Fatima Moreira de Melo engaged in heads up action. With a sizable pot already built, Ivanov checked over to de Melo who bet 33,500. Ivanov thought for a moment before sliding out a call.

The {k-Spades} finished off the community cards on the river. Ivanov checked once more and de Melo moved all in for her last 92,600. Ivanov asked for a count and as the dealer was breaking down the stacks, he announced a call. De Melo looked visibly frustrated as she turned up {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of kings. Ivanov rolled over {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for aces up to win the pot and score the double.

With this win, Ivanov's stack has increased to about 270,000 while de Melo's stack was crippled to just 7,700.

Kaverman Busts Jacobson

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

When we arrived at the table, Martin Jacobson had reraised to 26,000 after a three-bet from Byron Kaverman to 12,500. Kaverman opted to call and take the {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop in position. Jacobson bet 15,000, and Kaverman called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs}, and both players checked to see the {5-Diamonds} land on the river. Jacobson moved all in for 40,300, and Kaverman tank-called.

Jacobson showed the {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks, but he lost to Kaverman's {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for a pair of queens. That sent the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event champion to the rail, while Kaverman stacked up his new stack of 300,000 in chips.

Kanit Over Selbst

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Action folded around to the player in the cutoff who made it 5,000 to go. Mustapha Kanit was on the button and he slid out a three-bet to 13,100. Vitaly Lunkin folded his small blind, putting action on Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst in the big blind. He went into the tank for well over a minute before coming out with a four-bet to 31,300. The original raiser folded, putting action back on Kanit. He cut out calling chips and the two were off to the flop.

The dealer fanned {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Selbst thought for a moment before continuing out for 26,200. Kanit called and the {8-Hearts} came on the turn. Roughly 90 seconds passed before Selbst tapped the table, signifying a check. Kanit knocked the table back and the {9-Diamonds} finished off the board. Selbst checked again and Kanit moved 66,000 past the betting line. Selbst folded and Kanit took down the pot.

Felix Stephensen raised to 4,500 from under the gun in the final hand of the last level, and Byron Kaverman called from the cutoff seat. Isaac Haxton reraised to 15,500 on the button, and play folded back to Stephensen. He four-bet to 29,500, Kaverman folded, and Haxton called.

The flop was {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Stephensen bet 17,000. Haxton gave it up, and Stephensen won the pot.
