Erik Olofsson made it 16,000 to go from early position and it folded around to Yngve Steen in the big blind. He announced a three-bet all in for 125,000 and Olofsson called.
Steen rolled over and was racing with Olofsson's for his tournament life. The completed board produced two queen and Steen was able to drag in a double to 261,000.

Thanks to being scheduled in early January, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure tournament series often provides players who do well a kind of springboard to launch a successful year at the tables. Scott Seiver (winner of last year's Super High Roller at the PCA), Vanessa Selbst (winner of the 2013 PCA High Roller), and Dimitar Danchev (the 2013 PCA Main Event champ) were among several players who did well in the Bahamas then went on to big years in 2013.
