Schemion Gives It Up to Malinov

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

We happened upon the table with 8,000 or so already in the pot and a board reading {10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. We're not sure of the action, but German sensation Ole Schemion had two blue T5,000 chips and a single green T25 chip out in front of him, while Atanas Malinov, who has already reentered this tournament, had his entire stack of 31,275 committed.

Schemion was in the tank debating what to do. The 21-year-old pro, who will be playing in his first World Series of Poker this summer, thought for well over a minute before releasing his hand.

Small Pot for Vamplew

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

David Vamplew called a raise from Marc-Andre Ladouceur and the two players saw a flop of {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Ladouceur checked and called a bet of 3000 from Vamplew.

The turn card was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked. The {j-Clubs} on the river saw now further action and the players turned their cards over. {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for Ladouceur but he lost out to the {8-Spades}{7-Spades} of Vamplew.

Cymbaluk Bites the Dust

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante
Glenn Cymbaluk
Glenn Cymbaluk

Alexander Dovzhenko was responsible for the demise of Glen Cymbaluk’s first bullet. Dovzhenko fired a bet on the flop of {8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Cymbaluk jammed it in with {a-Spades}{9-Spades}.

He was snapped off by Dovzhenko who had middle set {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and no miracle rode to the rescue of the Canadian. Dovzhenko had just arrived at the table and has wasted no time in increasing his stack.

Reichardt Felled by Jacobson

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Sven Reichardt opened the action and was called by the blinds, which included Martin Jacobson. The flop was {5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Jacobson check-raised Reichardt to 4,500. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Jacobson led out for a bet of 10,000. Reichardt made the call and the river was the {k-Diamonds}.

Jacobson shoved and Reichardt called it off. Jacobson showed the {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for the flopped full house. Reichard, who had the {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a missed flush draw, ended up calling it off when he hit top pair on the river.
