Kitai Gets Some From Cates
Daniel Cates raised under the gun for 800 and got called by Davidi Kitai in early position, Marc-Andre Ladouceur on the button and Jack Salter in the big blind. The flop was

Unfortunately Cates checked out of turn but claimed he couldn’t see that Salter in the big blind hand cards as he had his hands over them. The dealer asked Salter to make sure his cards were on show and play resumed.
Salter checked, Cates checked and Kitai bet 1,800. It folded round to Cates who made the call. The turn card was the 
. Cates checked and then called a bet of 3,800 from Kitai. The river card 
saw Cates check fold to a bet of 10,000 from Kitai.
They both then tried to guess each other hands, Cates reasoning that it was only fair Kitai tell him his cards as he won the pot. Cates finished with “I had nothing.”
