Filippo Bisciglia had just been beaten out of a pot by Shayam Srinivasan when his was no good on the river versus the of Srinivasan. Now he was out for revenge.
Bisciglia had checked called a bet from Srinivasan on the turn when the cards in the middle were . When the river arrived Bisciglia led for 20,000.
“Show if I fold?” asked Srinivasan. When he folded Bisciglia showed him the saying, “Your five.”
We saw Jordan Westmorland open the action and Alessio Sardone three-bet to 14,600. Westmorland clicked it back to 25,500 and got a call. On the flop. The action was checked through, and the turn saw Westmorland bet 21,000. Sardone called.
The river completed the board and Westmorland immediately announced all in. Sardone ended up folding and Westmorland mucked his cards.
Action folded to Tom Alner on the button and he opened for 6,000, which inspired the small blind to fold. A short-stacked Davide Magnan was in the big and thought long and hard before moving all in for 30,500. Alner asked for a count and then put in chips to make the call.
Alner:
Magnan:
"I like it," Alner's neighbor told him. Sure enough, the flop gave Alner a flush draw and both he and his neighbor smiled. One man who wasn't smiling was Magnan, who was left shaking his head when the dealer burned and turned the to give Alner the said flush.
The meaningless was put out on the river for good measure, and Magnan, who was sporting both Absolute Poker and UB patches (both sites no longer in operation and mired in controversy), quickly exited the tournament floor.
After a preflop raise and four callers, we see the flop and Thiago Crema De Macedo bet 17,000. Only Alex Bilokur called to see the turn. Both players checked and the completed the board.
It turned out to be the money card for Bilokur. Crema De Macedo bet 37,500 and after about one minute of consideration, Bilokur made it 91,500. His value bet got paid off and Bilokur showed for the stone cold nuts.
We also caught the tweet of Raul Mestre about the previous huge hand. He apparently had and a gut shot on the flop:
Alex Longobardo opened the action to 6,500 and Alex Kravchenko three-bet to 15,700. Recent Estrellas Valencia winner Fabio Sperling moved all in for ~ 35,000 and Longobardo did so as well. Kravchenko snapped both off and the three of them tabled their cards:
Longobardo:
Sperling:
Kravchenko:
The board stayed clear for the best hand pre flop and Kravchenko more than doubles up, Longobardi is left crippled.
Tobias Hagedorn was all in for the third time today and it would not be his charm. He held the and [Removed:17] looked him up with holding the . The board eliminated Hagedorn and Yan is back to where he started today.
Iliodoros Kamatakis opened for 6,300 and one of the shorter stacks at the table, Cristiano Viali, raised to 16,000. The big blind Piotr Shautsou slid out all of his blue chips in a big tower for a bet of around 100,000.
“You’re all in?” asked a puzzled Kamatakis. Shautsou lifted his arms to show him that there were a few meagre chips left in front of him. Puzzlement turned to annoyance when Kamatakis and Viali both folded as Kamatakis wanted to get it all in against the short stack.
Shautsou showed them the for good measure as the chips were pushed his way.
It has been a really bad ten minutes for the Germans as we have also lost Jesper Feddersen. Down to fumes and only 20,000, he moved all in with the and Stephen Chidwick called with the . The flop was already scary with the flush draw for the Brit.
On the turn additional outs made it even worse for Feddersen but he was still alive. He could only shook his head though when the river popped up. Chidwick made the flush and now Pius Heinz and Dominik Nitsche are the last two Germans left in the EPT10 Sanremo Main Event.
Only one minute later Benjamin Debard also hit the rail. He was all in preflop for ~ 80,000 with the and got called by John Haigh with the . The board delivered three queens and two small cards.
