Ivan Soshnikov, who you may recall as the EPT10 Prague High Roller champ, opened for 26,000 from the cutoff only to have Malte Moennig three-bet to 81,000 from the blind. Soshnikov made the call and then called a bet of 115,000 on the flop.
Both players proceeded to check the turn, and then completed the board on the river. Moennig decided to bet again, this time 235,000, and Soshnikov thought for several minutes before making the call. He no doubt regretted it as Moennig tabled the for a set and the win.

Jack Salter started today as one of the shortest stacks. He's now over 1.4 million after he check-raised the river of a board against Eros Nastasi.
Nastasi had bet 140,000 on the end before Salter made it 391,000. Nastasi snap-called and Salter flipped , Nastasi flashed the and the Englishman lamented that he should've bet 100,000 more.

Kenny Hicks opened for 25,000 under the gun only to have Heinz Kamutzki three-bet all in for 131,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Hicks and he asked for a count before making the call.
Hicks:
Kamutzki:
"That's a slowroll almost," a seemingly annoyed Kamutzki said to Hicks.
"Sorry," was the reply. Kamutzki would likely have went on, but then the flop made his a massive favorite. The turn gave Hicks a straight draw, but the failed to completed it. Ship Kamutzki the double.

Action folded to Yulius Sepman in the hijack and he moved all in for 192,000, and action folded to Eros Nastasi, who called from the big blind.
Nastasi:
Sepman:
Sepman was behind, but the good news was that he was drawing to two live cards. The flop didn't hit him directly, but it did give him a flush draw to go with his live cards. The turn was a blank, and much to Sepman's dismay, so was the river. Sepman was eliminated in 30th place.
Meanwhile, Brazil's Fabiano Kovalski was eliminated one table over.

Dani Stern just found those aces at exactly the right moment as Nikita Nikolaev had picked up kings but all the money didn't go in until the turn of a board. The river changed nothing and Stern doubled up to about 800,000 while Nikolaev was left with 360,000.

Nikita Nikolaev made his way to table 4 where Jack Salter was asleep. Well perhaps not asleep, maybe just resting his eyes. But it’s hard to tell because his face was obscured, leaning as it was on his arms which are crossed on the table.
Salter has less than 100,000 on front of him. This is a good thing. A big stack right now would leave him with nowhere to rest his head. This way, he can build his stack up gradually throughout the day as he wakes up, as the PokerStars Blog reports.
