Timoshenko and Filatov Can't Beat Lute

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

In the hijack Yevgeniy Timoshenko, who won the A$100,000 Challenge during the Aussie Millions in Melbourne this year (A$2,000,000), opened for 900. Next door neighbor Anatoly Filatov, who placed second in the EPT Vienna High Roller for €265,200 recently, made the call. Dutch qualifier Martijn Lute joined the action by tossing in an extra 500 on top of his 400 big blind.

Lute checked to Timoshenko on {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} and he made a 1,350 continuation bet. Both Filatov and Lute made the call. The {4-Spades} fell on the turn and both Lute and Timoshenko now checked. Filatov bet out 2,500 and just Lute made the call, Timoshenko folded. The {5-Diamonds} was placed on the river and both players checked.

Lute had to show first and tabled {J-Spades}{9-Spades}. Filatov mucked his hand quietly, but is still up lots for the day.
