Mateos Gives It Up to the Check-Raise

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Reigning World Series of Poker Europe Main Event winner Adrian Mateos opened the action with a raise to 4,000 from the button, which inspired Alec Torelli to three-bet to 14,000 from the big blind. The Spaniard, the first to ever play the Grand Final $100,000 Super High Roller, made the call and it was heads-up action to the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop, which they both checked.

When the {A-Diamonds} appeared on the turn, Torelli checked for a second time and Mateos bet fur blue T5,000 chips for a bet of 20,000. Torelli thought for a long time before waking up with a check-raise to 65,000, which did the trick as Mateos released his hand.
