Last Hands from Level 20

Nível 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #106: Dan Cates raised to 160,000 on the button with the {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and won the pot.

Hand #107: Dan Cates raised to 160,000 from the cutoff with the {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Rono Lo called from the small blind with the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}, Daniel Colman came along from the big with the {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}, and three players took a flop of {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Two checks saw Cates bet 200,000, only Colman called, and the {5-Clubs} was put out on the turn. Both players checked, the {2-Hearts} completed the board on the river, and Colman checked for a third time. Cates took a stab at the pot with a bet of 490,000, and it worked as Colman laid down the best hand.

Hand #108: Paul Phua raised to 160,000 under the gun holding the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and won the pot.

Hand #109: Richard Yong moved all in for 960,000 with {a-}{q-} and swiped the blinds and antes.

Hand #110: Rono Lo raised to 165,000 from the hijack with the {a-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Dan Cates defended the big blind with the {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop saw Cates check and then fold to a bet of 230,000.

Hand #111: Igor Kurganov opened the cutoff holding the {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and took down the pot.

Hand #112: Dan Cates called from the button holding the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Rono Lo checked his option from the big with the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop saw both players put in some chips, and the {Q-Spades} appeared on the turn. Lo fired out 350,000, and Cates called with the best hand. When the {3-Spades} appeared on the river, Lo checked and Cates won the pot when he checked behind.

A Shove From Cates

Nível 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #100: Colman opened under the gun with {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for 180,000. Everyone folded and Colman took the blinds and antes. Hand number 100 wasn't all that exciting.

Hand #101: Action folded to Cates in the cutoff with {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. Cates made it 160,000 and Richard Yong quickly folded his button. Rono Lo with {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} in the small blind thought about it, but folded as well. Colman made the call from the big blind with {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

The flop gave the two {K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Cates was still in front. Colman checked to Cates, who continued with a small 80,000 bet. This inspired Colman to get a little frisky, as he made it 250,000. 170,000 for Cates to call, and he did just that.

Both with no pair and no direct draw, they saw a turn: {4-Spades}. Again both players missed. Colman checked, Cates checked behind. Still 920,000 in the pot and the {10-Clubs} fell on the river. No help for either players. Colman checked and Cates checked behind. Ace-high took it down, Colman didn't even need to show his hand.

Hand #102: Colman completed the small blind with {10-Spades}{5-Spades}. Igor Kurganov had {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} in the big blind and raise dit up. Colman folded, pot to Kurganov.

Hand #103: Yong opened the hijack with {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #104: Lo raised it up to 180,000 with {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} in the hijack. Paul Phua with {A-Spades}{9-Hearts} in the small blind announced allin for 1,000,000 and Cates quickly folded his big blind. Lo and Phua exchanged some words in their own language before Lo folded his hand as well.

Hand #105: Action folded to Cates in the small blind who shoved with {A-Spades}{6-Spades}. Richard Yong, the short stack, folded his big blind.

Hand #95: Richard Yong raised to 160,000 on the button with the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Rono Lo three-bet from the small blind with the {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. It did the trick as Yong folded his hand.

Hand #96: Paul Phua raised to 160,000 under the gun with the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Daniel Colman three-bet to 475,000 with the {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} from the small blind. Phua folded.

Hand #97: Dan Cates raised to 160,000 under the gun with the {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Daniel Colman three-bet to 400,000 from the button with the {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Cates folded.

Hand #98: Daniel Colman opened for 160,000 from the cutoff with the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Dan Cates defended his big blind (once again) with the {k-Spades}{9-Spades}. The {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop gave Cates the lead, but action went check-check. The {9-Hearts} turn saw Cates bet and Colman fold.

Hand #99: Igor Kurganov picked up the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} in the cutoff and raised to 160,000, which Paul Phua three-bet to 420,000 from the button with the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}. The blinds folded, Kurganov moved all in for 1.55 million, and Phua called the additional 1.13 million. The board ran out {9-Spades}{a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Kurganov doubled through.

A Bit Of Action

Nível 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #90: Cates opened the hijack with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for 160,000. Richard Yong in the cutoff made the call with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The flop came {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Cates continued for 160,000. Yong called to grow the pot to 820,000.

The {7-Spades} made Cates drawing dead. "jungleman" checked and Yong checked behind. The {A-Hearts} on the river made Yong a full house. Cates checked, and folded to Yong's 250,000 bet.

Hand #91: Colman with {A-Hearts}{2-Spades} on the button made it 160,000. Both blinds folded and Colman took it down.

Hand #92: Yong found {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} under the gun and made it 160,000. Cates in the big blind made the call with {A-Spades}{8-Spades}. The {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop was good for Cates but he checked.

Yong made a 125,000 bet and Cates just called. The {7-Clubs} on the turn made both players check. The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river and both players checked. With two pair it was Cates taking down the rather small pot.

Hand #93: Colman in the hijack opened for 160,000 with {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Igor Kurganov in the cutoff moved allin for 1,390,000 with {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Everyone folded, including Colman and Kurganov's shove got through.

Hand #94: Cates opened for 160,000 on the button with {5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Lo made the call from the big blind with {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Spades} on the flop missed both, but Lo bet out 125,000 nonetheless. Cates made the call with five high.

The {3-Clubs} on the turn made Lo, with 2.4 million behind, check. With 670,000 in the pot, Cates bet out 300,000. Lo played with his chips for awhile, but it was all for show, he folded.

Nível 19 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #84: Cates opened the hijack for 125,000 with {Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Lo made it 325,000 on the button with {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Colman in the small blind had {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} but he folded after about two minutes of thinking. Cates did the same, pot for Lo.

Hand #85: Lo opened the cutoff for 180,000 with {A-Spades}{3-Spades}. That was a bit to big for the other players and they all folded.

Hand #79: Richard Yong raised to 130,000 from the hijack with the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Rono Lo called from the cutoff with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Paul Phua came along from the big blind with the {10-Spades}{5-Spades}, and three players saw the {q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop. Phua checked, Yong bet 175,000, and both his opponents folded.

Hand #80: Igor Kurganov raised to 120,000 from the button with the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Daniel Cates called from the big blind with the {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop went check-check, and the action repeated on the {3-Hearts} turn. The {10-Spades} river saw Cates give up with a check, and Kurganov won the pot when he checked behind.

Hand #81: Rono Lo raised to 155,000 under the gun and Paul Phua flatted from the button with the {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Hand #82: Daniel Colman opened for 140,000 under the gun with the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and took down the pot.

Hand #83: Igor Kurganov raised to 120,000 under the gun with the {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Rono Lo called from the small blind with the {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. It was heads-up action to the flop, which came down {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Lo led out for 150,000, Kurganov called, and the {5-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Lo, who was drawing slim to a non-heart ten, slowed down with a check, and Kurganov did the same.

Lo didn't bluff the {6-Diamonds} river, and he ended up folding when Kurganov bet 270,000.
