The flop came to put Holden ahead while the turn gave Nikodinovic a flush draw and Mereu a gutshot. The came on the river and Nikodinovic doubled through Holden and took out Mereu at the same time.
Who's the daddy on table 9? Marvin Rettenmaier it turns out, for now. His raise 9,325 from the big blind was enough to force a fold from the monster-stacked Marc-Andre Ladouceur in the cut-off. The former grew to 56,000, the latter dropped to 110,000.
James Mitchell is back above his starting stack. He raised to 600 and called when a player on the button three-bet to 1,750 on the button. Mitchell led for 3,000 and 7,000 on the flop and turn of a board. The second barrel forced a fold from his opponent.
Michel Dattani is up to 85,000 after he made a considered call on the river of a board. He bet 11,500 and called when Julian Stuer check-raised to 28,000.
Davide Suriano has eliminated Sam Holden in a flip.
Holden lost the majority of his stack in a hand you can read about here, but his final chunk of change went into the middle with ace-queen versus the pocket sevens of Suriano. The sevens held up and Holden was out.
Seun Oluwole and Joao Vieira were heads up on a board of . Oluwole checked, and Vieira moved all in for 27,825 - a pot-sized bet.
Oluwole went deep into the tank, taking so long that the clock was called on him. With 30 second left to act, he cut all of the blue T5,000 chips out of his stack, and committed them.
"Good call," Vieira muttered, tabling for ace-high.
Oluwole flipped over for a winning pair of tens, and raked in the pot. He now sits with around 87,000 chips.
