Pasi Sormunen opened for 250,000 from the cutoff only to have Tom Middleton three-bet to 700,000 from the button. The blinds folded, Sormunen called and then both players checked it down as the board ran out .

Sormunen confidently tabled the for two pair, but it was no good as Middleton revealed for the same two pair with a better kicker.

"You can never be too careful," Middleton explained as to why he didn't bet.
