Goryachev Doubles Through O'Dwyer

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

From early position, Viacheslav Goryachev raised to 2,600. Action the folded to Steve O'Dwyer in the small blind, and he reraised to 7,200. Goryachev reraised right back at him to 17,600, then O'Dwyer moved all in. Goryachev called with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. O'Dwyer had the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, and O'Dwyer added a set. The turn was the {3-Hearts}, then the river landed with the {Q-Hearts}. With the river card, Goryachev made a Broadway straight and doubled up.

Calling Darvin Moon

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Scott Seiver finished his discussion with Jason Mercier, returned to his seat just in time before a card had been dealt from the deck, and watched Gilbert Diaz open to 3,500. Seiver called in position with the blinds folding to let them have it heads up. The flop was {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Diaz continued for 6,000 and Seiver called. The {10-Spades} landed on the turn and again Diaz bet 6,000. Seiver was happy to call and see what developed on the river. The {7-Diamonds} came and now Diaz checked. Seiver saw an opportunity and flicked out a bet of 15,000. Diaz snapped him off. Seiver had {k-Clubs}{x-} and surrendered the pot to Diaz’s {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

Set Over Set Sends Reilly Home

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Before the last break, Tim Reilly was all in with the {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} on the {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. Generally, getting your money all in with a set is a good thing, but not this time for Reilly as Sam Greenwood held the {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The turn was the {A-Hearts} and river the {7-Hearts}, giving Reilly no miracle, and he was eliminated.

Piqué Shoves On Finger

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Prior to the last break, Gerard Piqué moved back to 115,000 in chips after putting the ultimate pressure on former European Poker Tour Prague champion Martin Finger. With the board reading {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Finger bet 11,000 with roughly 26,000 behind. Piqué raised all in, and that sent Finger into the tank for quite a bit of time. Eventually, Finger folded, and Piqué showed him the {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for bottom set of twos.

One For Benefield

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We found David Benefield and Ludovic Lacay looking down at a completed board of {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. With over 20,000 already in the middle Lacay checked over to the November Niner.

Benefield cut out a bet of 11,000 and Lacay wasted little time announcing a call. Benefield showed {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for top pair which caused Lacay to throw his hand into the muck. Benefield picked up the pot and boosted his stack to about 155,000.
