After two hours of play in the €10K High Roller at EPT10 Barcleona, Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has assumed the chip lead after the eliminations of Raoul Refos, David Benefield, and Richard Yong as reported on the PokerStars Blog.
From under the gun, Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel raised to 55,000. Jean-Noel Thorel made the call from the cutoff seat, Joni Jouhkimainen called on the button, then Duhamel's fellow Team Pro Daniel Negreanu reraised to 235,000 out of the big blind. Duhamel took a little time, then announced that he was all in, a total bet worth 896,000. Thorel and Jouhkimainen folded quickly, then Negreanu went into the tank. After a minute or two of thought and talking out loud to himself, Negreanu folded, and Duhamel scooped in the pot.
Joni Jouhkimainen opened to 54,000 from the cutoff and Ole Schemion called from the button. Daniel Negreanu looked at his cards in the small blind and then announced a three-bet to 162,000. Action folded back to Jouhkimainen who mucked his cards. Schemion called and the two took a flop.
After seeing fall, Negreanu continued out for 200,000. Schemion made it 430,000 to go and Negreanu sat back in his seat. A moment passed.
"I'm all in," Negreanu said with a wave of his wrist.
"Call," said Schemion quietly.
Everyone at the table perked up at the sight of this action. Negreanu showed for top set while Schemion tabled for a diamond flush draw.

Mere moments after David Benefield fell, a sudden confrontation between Ole Schemion and Richard Yong saw the end of Yong's tournament life.

Ole Schemion recently absorbed most of Raoul Refos' stack which allowed Daniel Negreanu to swoop in during the next hand and eliminate him.
It all began when Refos opened to 48,000 from under the gun and received a single call from Schemion in the big blind. The flop brought and Schemion check-called a continuation bet of 42,000. This allowed the to fall on the turn and Schemion tapped the table again. Refos shot out 65,000 and Schemion stuck around.
The fell on the river and Schemion came out swinging with a bet of 200,000. This caused Refos to lean back in his seat and throw his hands up on his head. He riffled chips for quite some time before finally tossing out a flat call. Schemion showed for a rivered two pair and Refos let out a quick groan. Before mucking his hand he flashed to Schemion, showing that he was ahead until the river.
This hit left Refos with just around 70,000 and he was in the big blind the next hand. Negreanu opened from early position to 50,000 and it folded to Refos who called for his tournament life.
