David “MissOracle” Yan Leads the Final 16 Players

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

[Removed:17] leads the final 16.

Day 4 of the Season 10 European Poker Tour London Main Event is in the books. It took a little under four levels of play for the field, which started with 604 players five days ago, to whittle itself down from 45 to the final 16. Leading the way with a stack of 2.313 million is [Removed:17], who you may know as “MissOracle” on PokerStars and this year's sixth-place finisher in Aussie Millions Main Event.

Other notables still in contention are Robin Ylitalo (2.146 million), Ludovic Gelich (1.447 million), Jan Olav Sjavik (1.166 million), Jeff Rossiter (977,000) and Senh Ung (428,000), just to name a few.

The day began with a flurry of eliminations including Sebastian Blom (the brother of the legendary Viktor "Isildur1" Blom), who was the first to go. It happened in Level 19 (4,000/8,000/1,000) when he found himself all in preflop with the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} and way behind Stefan Vagner's {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The board came {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Blom made his way to the payout desk in 45th place for £11,425.

Blom soon had company on the rail in the form of Timothy Adams (42nd - £11,425), Kitty Kuo (41st - £11,425), Daniel Weinman (38th - £13,180), Paul Berende (34th - 13,180) and David "Devilfish" Ulliott (31st - £14,940).

The UK legend fell in Level 20 (5,000/10,000/1,000) after getting his chips in with the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} against the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} of Greece's Georgios Karakousis. The {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Spades} flop was safe enough for Ulliott, though it did give Karakousis a gutshot wheel draw. However it was the {A-Hearts} turn that did the Devilfish in. Karakousis paired his ace and left Ulliott in need of an eight on the river to stay alive. The {Q-Clubs} was not what he was looking for and Ulliott made a gracious exit from the tournament floor, even stopping to shake hands with a few fans.

The eliminations continued to mount and included the last woman standing, Carla Sabini (30th - £14,940); well-known pro Shannon Shorr (28th - £14,940); Salman Behbehani, who immediately jumped into the £10,000 High Roller (27th - £17,285); Australian pro Steven Watts (21st - £19,920); Macau cash game player Andy Moseley (19th - £22,850); EPT10 Barcelona High Roller champ Thomas Muhlocker (18th - £22,850); and the last elimination of the day, Candido Goncalves (17th - £25,780).

We won't recount Goncalves' elimination here, but if you're interested in reading it just scroll down. It's also worth noting that at the start of the day there were still five players remaining in the Skrill Last Longer Competition. It was a heated affair, but one man managed to outlast them all and win the contest. That man is the UK's Leo McClean, who won his buy-in back through Skrill. As the final 16 players bagged and tagged for the night, the clock read read 36:40 left in Level 22 (8,000/16,000/2,000). That is where action will pick up on Friday as the final two tables look to play down to the final table of eight. Starting at Noon local time the PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be bringing you all the action from the tournament floor, so be sure to check back then.
