A fire alarm at the neighbouring hotel meant it was an earlier start for some than they might have wished for. But players in the main event seemed unperturbed as they made their way to their seats this morning. Then again, they didn’t meet a naked man in a hotel corridor wearing nothing but green underpants, as the PokerStars Blog reports.
Dimitrios Farmakoulis opened for 18,000 only to have Robin Ylitalo, who has been on fire here in the first level of Day 4, three-bet to 52,000 from the small blind. The big folded, Farmakoulis shoved all in for 300,000 or so, and Ylitalo made the call.

Farmakoulis was in a similar spot earlier in the day against Timothy Adams. While he was able to get lucky in that pot and flop a set, he would not be so fortunate in this instance as the board ran out .

With the board reading the chips went flying in between Ole [Removed:332] and [Removed:17] to create a huge pot worth around a million chips.
Yan held for top two pair while [Removed:332] showed for the nut flush draw and a gutshot.
The on the turn was a good card for the Norwegian, now any ace would also hand him victory.
The river was the , an effective brick for [Removed:332] but salvation for Yan who picked up a huge pot put him close to, if not become, the chip leader.
In the very next hand after eliminating Dimitrios Farmakoulis, Robin Ylitalo scored another knock out.
It happened when action folded to Ylitalo on the button and he raised to 16,000. Paul Berende then shoved all in for roughly 170,000 from the small blind, the big folded, and Ylitalo made the call.

The table seemed a bit surprised that Ylitalo woke up with yet another quality hand, but as it was he was racing against Berende. There's no denying Ylitalo has been running well, and this hand would be no different as the board ran out a safe . Ylitalo chipped up to 1.6 million while Berende was eliminated from the EPT10 London Main Event.
Just before the break, Gino Gabriel was eliminated from the feature table by Shannon Shorr.
We picked up the action on a flop after Gabriel had gotten his stack of 247,000 all in holding the and was up against the of Shorr. "I need to hit," Shorr said, and he had a decent chance at it as he was drawing to 12 outs twice.
The turn didn't do it, but the river did. Shorr made a flush and a disappointed Gabriel saw his day come to an abrupt end.
Of the 45 players that originally signed up for the Skrill Last Longer competition in the Main Event, just two remain. Who will be the Last Man Standing? Will it be Ryan Yu (Canada) or Leo McClean (UK)? Only time will tell.
For those unfamiliar with the promotion. The Skrill Last Longer competition will be held at each stop on this season’s EPT, of which they’re an official sponsor. The promotion is simple – players sign up for the promotion either online (preregistration is available) or at the Skrill booth (which will be present at each stop); don a Skrill patch; and then aim to be the last man or woman standing. The last player remaining will then receive the £5,250 buy-in back in their Skrill account.
While Skrill is upping the ante for Season 10 with a bigger branding initiative, this isn’t their first appearance on the EPT; as a matter of fact, they were a sponsor of Season 8 and have held previous “Last Longer” promotions.
