Back in September, Thomas Muhlocker defeated Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu to win the European Poker Tour Barcelona €10,000 High Roller for €390,700. Muhlocker was looking for back-to-back high roller titles, but that won't happen as he was just eliminated in unknown action.

Likewise, Martin Finger, who won the EPT10 London £50,000 Super High Roller last week for £821,000, has also been eliminated from the tournament.

Greenwood Gets Lucky Against Seidel

Shawn Buchanan and Joel Nordkvist have been continuing to spar a lot in the last hour or so. Buchanan opened to 6,000 preflop and Nordkvist made it 15,500 in the small blind. Buchanan then four-bet to 35,000 with about 90,000 back and Nordkvist moved all in.

A Conversation with the Devilfish and Poker Brat

There's just one table remaining in the "C" Room, but it could very well be the most entertaining left in the tournament thanks to Phil Hellmuth and David "Devilfish" Ulliott. The two have met countless times over the years and could be called friends, albeit it competitive and egotistical ones.

When we made our pass, the dynamic duo were in engaged in a conversation about a past Omaha hi/lo hand the two had played. From what we could piece together, Hellmuth got his chips in on a flop with a hand like and received a call from Devilfish, who held for an up-and-down straight draw with the nut flush draw. Long story short, Ulliott ended up winning the hand and Hellmuth has never forgotten.

The two argued about the specifics with each accusing the other of not having a good memory. Hellmuth indicated that he was willing to make a wager, but such talk soon fizzled out. The two then began to talk about how they have nothing but good things to say about one another.

About this time Hellmuth had the big blind and action folded to Ulliott, who raised to 10,000. One by one the remaining players folded, including Hellmuth, and the Devilfish quipped, "I put the extra big raise in there, Phil, just so you'd think I had shit." Ulliott then flashed the .

The banter is all in good fun, but unfortunately it'll come to an end soon as their table is the next to break.

Joel Nordkvist has had a very profitable first couple of levels, indeed he's now among the small group of players who are over the 300,000 mark already.

Nordkvist fired a 16,000 bet on a flop against Shawn Buchanan with the latter making the call. The came on the turn and Nordkvist didn't slow down, betting 32,000 this time. The second barrel was too much for Buchanan, whose hand promptly went into the muck.

After a series of raises, Jason Lavallee ended up all in preflop for 89,500 with the . His opponent, Bryn Kenney, was way behind with the . After the flop fell , Kenney began to count out chips to pay off Lavallee.

The turn took away Kenney's shot at a runner-runner flush and locked up the hand for Lavallee. The meaningless was run out on the river for good measure, and Kenney was left with just 35,000 after the hand.
