Winter would need some help to stay alive in this spot, but the flop of 8♠J♣5♦ made it all the more tougher as Panjwani made top pair of jacks. Winter was given some hope on the turn 10♣, but the river could not provide as it came the blank 4♦ and he was eliminated in 5th place in his second final-table appearance of this series.

Shovkovyi didn't take too much time to make the call and they were off to the races, Park's tournament life on the line.

The flop of 4♥10♣6♠ was good for Park as he made top pair, but the turn Q♥ was not his friend as Shovkovyi jumped into the lead with a pair of queens. Only an ace or a ten on the river would save Park, but tit was the brick 9♦ and he was sent out in 6th place.

Shovkovyi was in a prime position to double up with his superior ace, and the runout of 9♣2♦A♥5♥5♦ gave him the claim to the huge pot and the chip lead.

Chapman was in the lead with her eights, but she had a lot of over-cards to dodge if she was to stay in the game.

Sure enough, the flop of 10♦5♦K♠ gave both of her opponents a pair, with Winter on the better end of it. The turn K♦ further improved him to trips and left Chapman drawing dead, but it also gave Panjwani a flush draw.

Luckily for Winter, the river was the brick 3♥ and he was awarded the pot while Chapman exited in 7th.
