Serrano Doubles Off Teixeira; Kenne Building a Big Stack
Nível 6
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
A player in early position raised to 5,000 and was called by Marcos Kenne in the cutoff and Carlos Serrano in the small blind. Fabiano Teixeira then three-bet to 20,000 in the big blind and only Serrano called.
The flop came K♠9♦8♣ and Teixeira bet enough to put Serrano all in. Serrano quickly called for 12,100.
Carlos Serrano: K♥Q♠
Fabiano Teixeira: 10♠8♠
Serrano was ahead with his top pair as the K♣ turn improved him to trips. Teixeira was already drawing dead by the 3♠ river and Serrano doubled up.
