Welcome back to continued coverage from the 2019 Aussie Millions right here on PokerNews. Today sees the start of Event #3 here in Melbourne as well as the continuation of the AUD$1,150 Opening Event.

262 players remain in the Opening Event after five flights, with the field combining and their sights set on making it through to the final day's play.

Levels in the Opening Event are now 60-minutes, and the plan for today is ten levels or down to a final table of nine.

This evening sees the start of Event #3: AUD$1,150 Shot Clock Shootout won last year by Jason Brown. He defeated Thomas Muehloecker heads-up to win himself AUD£39,397 after topping a field of 192 entries.

Players will start with 10,000 in chips and levels will be 30-minutes each. Players are allowed one re-entry. The tournament is a shot clock format - players have 20 seconds to act on their hand.

The tournament is a shootout format - the winner of each initial table will progress to the next stage on Day 2.
