Ogura Doubles Through Foxen

Nível 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Takashi Ogura opened to 42,000 or the pot from early position and Alex Foxen defended his big blind. Foxen then bet pot of 90,000 on the {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop and Ogura called all in for 81,000.

Foxen: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Ogura: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The turn {8-Clubs} improved Ogura to two pair but Foxen could still hit all manner of straight cards to burst the money bubble. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Ogura's full house saw him double up.

Demicki turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for ace-high and Jattin tok down the pot with {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} for a flopped straight and rivered full house.

Rory Rees

Rory Rees raised to 35,000 from early position. It folded to Tobias Ziegler in the big blind who three-bet enough to put Rees all in who called.

Rees: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Ziegler: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Rees got to his feet after the {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop was dealt. The turn {6-Spades} and river {k-Spades} meant that Ziegler made a full house and eliminated Rees.

The tournament is now on the money bubble with only seven players guaranteed AU$96,480.
