We arrived at Ken Demlakian’s table just in time to catch his exit hand. There had evidently been a great deal of preflop action as the pot looked to be in the region of 20,000 or so with a flop of 
showing with Demlakian and a tablemate the only two players involved.
First to act Demlakian announced he was all-in for around 10,000 with his opponent calling immediately, which is usually never a good sign.
It definitely wasn’t in this case and Demlakian’s 
was trailing to his opponent’s 
. The 
turn left Demlakian drawing dead and just to rub some salt into the wound the 
river gave his opponent the nut flush.
“Good hand,” said Demlakian tapping the table before heading for the rail while his opponent pulled in the 40,000 plus pot.
