Early Birds in the Field
A plethora of notable pros have taken their seats early in Day 1b proceedings.
Among them include locals Craig Blight, Michael Egan, Shivan Abdine, Ryan Otto, Alex Lynskey, Angelina Rich, Michael Kanaan and Bruno Portaro.
The internationals are also in force with Ryan D'Angelo, Terrence Chan, 2015 November-Niner Federico Butteroni, Darryll Fish and Mark Radoja also present.
Also hidden amongst the players are Tyron Krost and Jeff Rossiter. Krost won this event back in 2010 when he bested a 746-player field to take home the two million dollar prize pool and be crowned champion. Two years later he would play an Aussie Millions Tournament of Champions against previous winners and be awarded the golden ticket giving him free entry to the Aussie Millions for the rest of his life.
Rossiter has a very impressive resume with results that see him sit 2nd in Australia on the all-time money list. A 3rd place in the 2011 Aussie Million as well as coming 2nd in the 2013 GuongDong Asia Millions his two biggest scores to date netting him almost $4 million in prizemoney.
