Mooney Moving Up
Nick Mooney is stacking chips after emptying the clip against tablemate Sam Higgs.
Mooney raised to 1,100 preflop and picked up three callers – Jason Gray on the button, Sam Higgs in the small blind and Ben Richardson in the big blind.
The four players went to a monochrome flop of 
. The action was checked to Mooney and he continued for 1,700. Higgs was the only caller and the two remaining watched as the 
arrived on the turn.
Higgs checked again and Mooney barrelled for 3,000. The bet was snap-called by Higgs and the 
rolled off on the river. After a final check from Higgs, Mooney moved the last of it in for 11,450.
Despite asking for a count, Higgs couldn’t make the call and Mooney pushed his stack back up towards what he began proceedings with.
