Australian pro Daniel Neilson got off to a rough start in this tournament as half his starting stack disappeared, but whatever bad luck he experienced in Level 1 seems to have turned around in Level 2 as he's not only recouped those chips, but has added even more to his stack.

In a recent hand, we stumbled upon Neilson's table on the river with around 15,000 already in the pot and a board reading . We're not sure of the action, but we do know Neilson had 7,700 out in front of him from the button and his sole opponent, who was in the small blind, was in the tank debating what to do.

Eventually the player in the small blind released and Neilson was awarded the pot.

Huge Double for Razmi Through Greenwood

We picked up the action with roughly 18,000 already in the pot and a board reading . Mehrdad Razmi checked from the small blind and Sam Greenwood, who is one of the six players on hiatus from the $100,000 Challenge final table, bet 13,500 from the hijack.

Razmi then woke up with an all-in check-raise to 25,825 total, and Greenwood got a count before making the call with for a flopped set. It was no good though as Razmi held the nuts with the .

Levy Looking to Climb Australia's All-Time Money List

After a player in middle position opened for 500, action folded to Grant Levy in the big blind. Levy, who currently sits eighth on Australia's all-time money list with $2,200,877 in live tournament earnings, called the raise and then both players checked the flop as well as the turn.

When the completed the board on the river, Levy checked and the original raiser bet 500. Levy called with the for a pair of eights, which was good against his opponents . Despite winning that hand, Levy is down a bit from the starting stack.

Stevan Gives Lin Something to Chew On

Celina Lin raised to 500 from the cutoff and Stevan Chew in the small blind was the sole caller. Chew checked on and initial raiser Lin made a bet of 500. Chew came along and checked again once the hit the turn. Lin continued for 1,000. So far, this could have been a limit game, but things changed drastically as Chew made it 3,600. Lin made the call.

The river had Chew bet 4,400. Lin didn't like it too much, but in the end found the prize to good to fold.

Chew showed and Lin mucked, later claiming she had a set. John Juanda recently joined Lin's and Chew's table, he's at about starting stack.

Two Pair Gets Wang Started Off on the Right Track

An under-the-gun player opened for 600 and WSOP bracelet winner Michael Wang called from middle position. The players in the blinds both called, and four players saw the flop, which came down .

Two checks saw the original raiser continue for 1,250, and only Wang called to see the turn. The under-the-gun player bet 2,500, Wang called, and the completed the board on the river. The under-the-gun player slowed down with a check but still called when Wang bet 6,800.

Wang rolled over the for two pair, and it was good as his opponent mucked.

Kaverman vs. Sylvia

Byron Kaverman, the 2015 GPI Player of the Year, raised to 500 from the button and Jesse Sylvia, who you may recall as the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up, called from the small blind. The two took a flop of , and then both checked, as they did on the turn.

When the double paired the board on the river, Sylvia checked and then quickly folded when Kaverman bet 700. Not much of a hand, but it gave us a good excuse to update you on their respective chip counts.
