Heads Up

Gregory Cook won a medium-sized pot with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}, but an ace on the river shut down all further betting action.

Then, Ari Engel went onto a little streak to gain the lead once again. He raised to 25,000 and was called before a continuation bet on the {3-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop went through.

Cook raised to 25,000 and Engel three-bet to 80,000, which was called. On the {3-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, Cook check-folded to a bet of 75,000.

Cook's next raise to 25,000 was called as well and the checked the flop {J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. On the {3-Spades} turn, Engel check-called a bet of 35,000 and the bet worth 85,000 on the {5-Spades} river enforced a fold.

Last but not least, both players flopped top pair on the board {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Cook's bet of 35,000 was called, the turn was checked through and Engel then bet 80,000 on the river to scoop the pot with {A-Hearts}{6-Spades} versus {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Cook's Four-Bets Win

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On the flop {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{K-Spades}, Ari Engel and Gregory Cook checked. The {4-Diamonds} turn saw no betting action either before Cook bet the {5-Clubs} river for 30,000. Engel raised to 95,000 with 700,000 behind and that enforced a fold from Cook.

Shortly after, Cook raised to 25,000 and Engel squeezed to 75,000. The Aussie quickly four-bet and that was enough for Engel to muck. He repeated the very same two hands later and Engel once again mucked his cards.
