Ivey Crippled in Last Hand of the Night
In the last hand of the night, Phil Ivey, who is looking to win this event for the third year in a row (and fourth out of five year), opened for 11,000 from the cutoff and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 34,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Ivey moved all in. O'Dwyer called off for 189,000 total and the cards were turned up.

flop did give him a gutshot to Broadway. The 
turn gave him more outs as a club would give him a flush, but the 
river was not what he needed.
Since it was the last hand of the night, I've was left with just 52,500. With registration closing the minute Level 7 starts, Ivey won't be able to reenter, meaning is quest for three in a row will begin on the short stack on Day 2.
