Only 10 minutes after Jan Suchanek almost evened out the stacks, he found himself back to the short stack in two Stud Hi/Lo hands. Suchanek check-called 7th street to show inferior two pair.

Suchanek and then bet 5th street the next hand. Obst called and Suchanek fired 6th for 12,000. James Obst raised to 24,000 and was called before checking 7th street. Obst min-bet for 12,000 and was called to let Suchanek announce kings up for two pair. Obst rolled over a flush and claimed the big pot.

Jan Suchanek bet 5th street and James Obst called, both players checked 6th and Suchanek's bet on 7th street for 12,000 was called. Suchanek showed a pair of tens and that won the pot to almost even out the stacks.

Suchanek had the bring in and Obst made the call. Obst check-raised a bet on fourth and when Suchanek called, he bet again on fifth. Suchanek called and when Obst bet sixth, Suchanek raised. Obst called, but check-folded to a bet on seventh.

A hand later, Suchanek pushed Obst off another pot when he paired on fifth.

Suchanek Strikes Back with Aggression

After a three-bet and a four-bet pot, Jan Suchanek has been able to accumulate chips again to close the gap slightly. The first hand saw a flop of {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Obst called one continuation bet before folding on the {6-Hearts} turn.

Suchanek then four-bet to 20,000 and Obst called. After the flop {J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Suchanek fired straight away and Obst tossed his cards into the muck.

Omaha Hi/Lo

On the flop {2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Obst three-bet and Suchanek called. The {4-Hearts} on the turn saw only a single bet and a call before both checked the {K-Clubs} river. Suchanek's {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} won the low pot with a straight, Obst took the high pot with {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} for the nut flush.

Both players checked the {2-Clubs} turn and Suchanek then bet the {Q-Clubs} river for 10,000. Obst called and his {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} won the pot against Suchanek's {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

After having lost the previous big pot, Jason Gray got the remainder of his stack in after 5th street and chip leader James Obst called.

Gray's four card low failed to find any help and his pair of deuces was no good for the hi pot either, awarding the pot to Obst with a pair of sixes and no lo.

After the hand, both remaining players went on a 10-minute break.
