With 32 entries already generated in the 2014 Aussie Millions AU$100,000 Challenge, expectations are that this year's field will break the previous record of 38 from 2011 when Sam Trickett won. The tournament staff announced that several more players are expected to show up and participate, including Igor Kurganov, Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, and John Juanda.
You also have to factor in Jason Mercier, Sorel Mizzi, Scott Seiver, Jeff Rossiter, and Erik Seidel as late entries. All five of those players are still currently in the Main Event with 18 players remaining.

That's what Isaac Haxton asked after being eliminated by Martin Finger.
Haxton appeared to get his short stack all in preflop holding the and was racing against the of Finger. Haxton survived the flop, but not the river. Finger found a lady to take the lead, and he was pushed the pot after the completed the board on the river.

With a board reading and a bet of 7,500 in front of him, Christoph Vogelsang called and Paul Newey moved all in from the button for 41,200. The original bettor folded and Vogelsang quickly called.
"Nuts," Vogelsang said before tabling the . Newey was none too pleased and threw his onto the table before making a beeline out of the tournament area.
"Rebuy," Newey could be heard saying. Here's hoping third time is the charm.
