The flop came Q♦J♦2♣ and Simpson continued for 350,000. Diaz then raised to 1,000,000 and Simpson used multiple time banks before laying down his kings.

Simpson got some of those chips back the next hand after Diaz raised to 160,000 in early position. Simpson three-bet to 420,000 on the button with A♣8♣ and Diaz folded A♠4♠.

Perez showed K♥K♣, but Syzghanov had 7♦5♠ for two pair and the lead as the opponents had virtually the identical stack. The river was the J♥ and Perez counterfeited Syzghanov's two pair by making kings and jacks, sending Syzghanov to the rail in eighth place.

All three players checked to the 8♠ turn where Simpson bet 160,000. Alvarez raised to 400,000 with his pair of nines and Serra folded, while Simpson also laid down his pair of jacks and Alvarez took the pot.
