Marius Varanavicius called in early position, but Daniel Gormley, coming off an eighth-place finish in the High Roller earlier today, reraised to 12,000 in middle position. The table folded back to Varanavicius who quickly folded.

Johnston was far behind Gormley's kings but picked up some outs on the 10♠J♠5♣ flop. The 5♦ turn improved him to trips, while the 2♣ river sealed his triple up. Even Gormley joined in as the table shared a laugh over the bad beat.
