Quelhas No More

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Van Hiep Tran raised from late position and an almost even-stacked Andre Filipe Quelhas got his stack in with the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Tran called with the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} and the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{K-Spades}.

Quelhas grabbed his belongings and left the table with a "well done" towards Tran.

A Look at Some Short Stacks

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Hall Bests Jaksland

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Peter Jaksland raised to 2,700 from early position and was called by two players including Cate Hall. On the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop the action checked to Hall, who bet 4,000, and just Jaksland called, before the {7-Diamonds} turn was checked through.

After the {4-Hearts} river, Jaksland then bet 9,000 and Hall raised to 28,000. Jaksland immediately laughed and called soon after. Hall rolled over {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a full house sevens over sixes, and Jaksland mucked his {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Saxer's Stack is Gone

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Dinner Break Counts

Chips with Everything

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Players are out of their seats like they're all-in and drawing dead on the turn. The hour-long dinner break means one thing and one thing only - food!

We'll be back to the action just as soon as the players return from their refreshments.

Facundo Left with Dust

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

In the last hand before the break, Harcharan Dogra Dogra raised and then called the shoves of Juan de Diego Salcedo on the button and [Removed:204] in the small blind.

[Removed:204]: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Juan de Diego Salcedo: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Harcharan Dogra Dogra: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

An eight on the flop was followed by a queen on the turn and de Diego Salcedo tripled up, while Facundo was left with a tiny side pot.

Ciuperca Chipping Up

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Cristian Ciuperca was not afraid of an opening bet or a three-bet when he made it 7,000 to go pre-flop from the small blind. He was folded to, and keen to show the table that he had the goods. Ciuperca flipped over {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} .

There are just a few minutes to go in this level before players take a full dinner break of one hour. They'll return to blinds of 600/1,200/200, which would give them an average of 43 big blinds, so there is still plenty of play across Day 1c. With 182 players still in seats, the battle for a Day 2 place is real.
