2024 WSOP Europe
Chip Count
There were around 65,000 chips in the pot on a board of 10♣Q♣2♣5♠ when Stanislav Zegal checked it over to Julien Combier, who fired 23,000. Zegal called.
A 9♦ dropped on the river where Zegal quickly checked, and Combier elected to knuckle back.
Zegal showed K♠K♥, then Combier stared at the board for around ten seconds before he mucked.

Level 2 has concluded and 369 players are now on their second 15-minute break in the Main Event. Here are some highlights from the past level.
Jakob Miegel bet 12,500 from early position on a flop of J♥8♥2♠ and Floris van Bodegraven moved all in for 24,000 in the hijack. Paco Kaplan called under the gun, while Miegel also called.
The turn was the 8♦ and Miegel bet 19,000. Kaplan called to create a side pot and they both checked the 4♣ river. Miegel showed A♠A♣, Kaplan had A♦A♥, and van Bodegraven was already walking to the exit with his Q♥5♥ in the muck as Miegel and Kaplan split the pot.

The full action was missed but Theodoor Woolschot was seen standing up from his table and walking away, with the rest of his chips heading over to the stack of Timo Kamphues.
Woolschot had A♠A♦ and was up against the K♥K♦ of Kamphues, but a king on the board meant disaster for the Dutchman, who was eliminated.

Samuel Ju opened to 900 from under the gun and was called by Matas Cimbolas on the button before Martin Zamani squeezed to 4,600 from the small blind. Mohamed Aissaoui called from the big blind and both Ju and Cimbolas also called.
The flop came K♦9♦J♥ and Zamani fired a 4,000 continuation bet that Aissaoui and Ju called while Cimbolas got out of the way.
Zamani fired a second barrel for 13,000 on the 2♠ turn. Aissaoui opted to fold while Ju made the call.
On the 8♦ river Zamani sized down with a bet of 4,000. Ju raised to 18,000 and Zamani folded, showing the A♥ from his hand as he did so.
Ju revealed the A♦ from his hand before scooping the pot.
