Giuseppe Demasi moved all in for 150,000 in the cutoff and Alexander Romme called in the big blind.
Giuseppe Demasi: A♦Q♦
Alexander Romme: A♣A♥
Romme had woken up with aces, and while Demasi got some hope on the K♠J♥7♣ flop with a straight draw, he improved no further on the K♣ turn and 7♥ river as Romme took the pot to send him to the exit.
Anthony Amsellem raised to 32,000 in the cutoff before Alexandre Viard three-bet to 80,000 on the button. Amsellem then moved all in for 270,000 and Viard called.
Anthony Amsellem: A♥J♦
Alexandre Viard: A♠10♣
Amsellem had Viard dominated through the 8♦4♥8♥2♣ board, but the river brought the 10♦ and Amsellem shot back in his seat as Viard made two pair to send him to the rail.
Within a few seconds at another table, his dad Jacob was all in for 237,000 against Ali Shahni.
Jackb Amsellem: A♦K♦
Ali Shahni: J♣J♠
The flop came J♥9♥9♦ and Shahni filled up on the start-of-day chip leader, who watched as the board ran out 5♣3♣ before joining his son on the rail.
Yehor Shumeiko opened to 24,000 and called when Symeon Alexandridis three-bet to 105,000.
Alexandridis continued for 65,000 on the Q♣9♠6♥ flop and Shumeiko called.
Alexandridis then bet 160,000 on the J♠ turn, leaving 20,000 behind. Shumeiko tried to raise but accidentally put in a string bet and it was just ruled as a call.
The 10♣ completed the board and the rest of the chips went in.
Symeon Alexandridis: A♣J♣
Yehor Shumeiko: A♠A♥
Shumeiko slow-played his aces and got max value as well as his opponent's mystery bounty token.
Adrian Strobel moved all in for 225,000 from the small blind and Alexander Romme called in the cutoff.
Adrian Strobel: Q♠10♠
Alexander Romme: A♣A♦
"This is a beautiful hand. I'm sorry," Strobel told Romme, but he would have nothing to apologize for as the board came 5♣4♣8♥7♦A♥. Romme finished with top set and added Strobel's bounty to go with the new-found chips to his already-massive stack.
Martin Morawiec moved all in for 130,000 from early position and Benjamin Pitoun called in the hijack.
Martin Morawiec: A♥J♣
Benjamin Pitoun: 10♦10♥
Morawiec was racing for his tournament life and stood up from his seat to await the board, but for once the stand-up trick didn't work as he watched the dealer turn over 3♥6♥5♣Q♦6♠, keeping Pitoun's tens in the lead and sending him to the rail.
Serhii Kolosov was all in for 150,000 in middle position, Tim Kraemer had his last 60,000 in the middle from early position, Andras Balogh shoved for 145,000 in the big blind, and Jamel Ghizaoui in the cutoff had all three players covered.
"Let's go," Balogh yelled out after seeing the flop come 6♣2♦2♥, giving him a full house and a near lock on the hand. The board ran out 4♦8♥ and Balogh and Kolosov were both eliminated, while Balogh doubled off Ghizaoui.
Elsewhere, Ana Marquez was eliminated after running into the set of fives of Alexander Romme, who moved up past 1,000,000.
Sam Dryden and Samuel Ju got into a raising war preflop which saw the latter at risk for his last 233,000. Dryden had him covered by 21,000.
Samuel Ju: A♦K♥
Sam Dryden: Q♠Q♣
Ju paired up on the K♦10♠8♥ flop, leaving Dryden on fumes after the K♠9♦ runout.
The following hand, Ju opened to 25,000 from under the gun. Dryden put in the rest of his stack from the cutoff. Monika Zukowicz then moved all in for 132,000 from the small blind.
"Ahhhh!" cried out Ju as he contemplated his decision. "If I fold and you win, I get 5% of the bounty," joked Ju. "I did the hard work!"
He asked for a count and put in the call.
"If I win the two bounties, you have 5%," said Ju as the cards went on their backs.
Sam Dryden: A♥J♣
Monika Zukowicz: A♠K♠
Samuel Ju: 2♦2♥
Zukowicz took the lead on the K♥4♥4♦ flop. The J♥ turn gave her opponents flush draws, but she held to scoop following the 6♣ river.
A massive pot of more than 200,000 was already in the middle as Jakub Koleckar and Robert Bickley went to the river on a board of 3♣Q♠A♥7♠5♦.
Bickley moved all in from under the gun, putting Koleckar to a decision for his last 200,000. Koleckar tanked for a few minutes in the small blind before calling.
Bickley then turned over Q♦Q♣ for a flopped set and Koleckar flashed A♦4♦ before heading for the exit.
