Bise's Lead Does Not Work Out

Nível 16 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ben Heath raised to 130,000 from under the gun and received calls from Francisco Benitez in the small blind and Emil Bise in the big blind.

The KQ8 flop was then put on the felt and Benitez checked. Bise then led out for 65,000, and only Heath called. The 5 turn was checked by both players before the 6 river completed the board.

Another two checks were announced, and Bise tabled A3 for just ace-high. Heath was sitting on a pair with his QJ and thus raked in another pot.

Chris Brewer opened from the cutoff with Q10. Defending champion Orpen Kisacikoglu called from the big blind with 75.

Kisacikoglu check-raised to 310,000 on the K64 flop after Brewer continued for 110,000. Brewer decided to float with his queen-high.

Kisacikoglu paired up to take the lead on the 7 turn. He opted to check and Brewer bet 250,000. Kisacikoglu called.

The 9 completed the board and gave Kisacikoglu the checkmark. He checked once more. Brewer sized up to 830,000, which put his opponent all in. Kisacikoglu folded the best hand for Brewer to take the pot.

Bise Bluffs Too Much

Emil Bise

Ren Lin raised his button to 180,000 chips. Emil Bise was in the big blind and made the call. The 10JK flop was then checked by Bise before Lin made a bet of 100,000. Bise raised to 250,000 and Lin made the call.

The 2 turn saw both players check before Bise put in a single T-100,000 chip on the 6 river. Lin made a swift call and Bise tabled A7 for ace-high. Lin then showed AJ for a pair of jacks and the winning hand.

"You bluff too much, my friend," Lin concluded, which got a smile out of the otherwise stoic Bise.

Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou opened to 160,000 from under the gun with KQ. An irate Martin Kabrhel looked down at JJ and just called. Kabrhel appeared to be upset at Orpen Kisacikoglu for how the latter was placing his cards over the RFID scanner. It soon cooled down, and Santhosh Suvarna called from the small blind with 109.

Zhou continued for 155,000 on the A22 flop, and only Kabrhel called. Zhou sized up to 625,000 on the 10 turn and Kabrhel opted to fold.
