Kaneoya In the Mix

Renato Kaneoya has had a very successful summer in Las Vegas and reached two WSOP final tables. Kaneoya finished 4th in Event #6: GIANT - $365 No-Limit Hold'em and followed that up with a 7th place in Event #68: The Little One for One Drop - $1,000 +111 No-Limit Hold'em. The Brazilian was back home for a different festival and then headed over to Europe with some 14 hours in flights to take part in the World Series of Poker Europe.

Also in Day 1A are Mick Heder and Matous Houzvicek. Guoliang Wei, who won the Little One for One Drop, has already been eliminated and subsequently re-entered.

Renato Kaneoya has had a decent start into Day 1A and chipped up quickly before being moved tables. Just now he was in a heads-up pot and checked the turn. His opponent in the cutoff bet 4,000 and Kaneoya called, then checked again quickly on the river.

What followed was a bet of 7,000 by the player in the cutoff and Kaneoya sent his cards into the muck.

In the meanwhile, Anatoly Korochenskiy has been eliminated from a nearby table and will likely be back soon.
