It seems we're going to have one more very notably latecomer.

Sure enough, the players' complaints were quickly remedied. Jack Effel has just made a lap around the room, replacing each of their three T5,000 chips with five yellows (T1,000) plus one shiny new blue T10,000.

Pre-November Battle

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

From middle position, 2011 November Niner Phil Collins raised to 250. Fellow November Niner Matt Giannetti made the call from the button and everyone else folded.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Collins fired a continuation bet for 350. Giannetti called.

The turn card was the {4-Spades} and Collins fired 800. Giannetti made the call and stuck around to see the river.

After the {8-Clubs} completed the board, Collins checked and Giannetti quickly checked behind.

Collins showed the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, but lost to Giannetti's {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, despite having him dominated preflop.

The {10-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and Katchalov stayed on the gas, betting 2,000. Buchanan mucked and Katchalov won the pot.

Muck His Hand

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

On a {3-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {8-Clubs} flop, we picked up the action as the under-the-gun player led out with a bet of 600 in a heads-up pot. Jon Aguiar was in position, and he flicked the call into the pot to see the {10-Clubs} on the turn. Mr. UTG bet another 1,500, and Aguiar studied for just a bit longer before calling once again.

The {A-Clubs} rivered with a fourth club, and both players checked. When Aguiar checked to close the action, Mr. UTG threw his cards face-down into the middle of the table, after which the dealer motioned to Aguiar to show his cards. He sat as still as a statue.

"Muck his hand," he ordered.

The dealer repeated her request to see his cards, but he refused. "Muck his cards."

"No, I need to see," the dealer responded.

Aguiar was getting frustrated, and he now spoke more firmly with a pointed finger: "Touch his cards with your hand and move them towards the muck, and then I'll show my hand."

"Floor!" the dealer called.

A couple of the other players quickly jumped on the bandwagon and finally, the dealer obliged and mucked the losing hand. Immediately, Aguiar tabled his {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} to win the pot, and he's moved up just a bit from his starting stack.

Duhamel Four-Bets and Follows Through

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Last year's World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel raised from middle position to 400. Olivier Busquet reraised to an unknown amount from the cutoff seat and then play folded back to Duhamel. Busquet put out 1,500, but announced a three-bet to either 1,100 or 1,200. Either way, Duhamel four-bet to 2,550. Busquet called.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Duhamel fired 2,250. Busquet thought for a minute, but gave it up and let Duhamel take this one down.

Cheong Plays His Kings Safe

Nível 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Joseph Cheong raised from under the gun to 400. The player in the next seat called and then action folded to Roger Hairabedian in the small blind. He called and Sami Kelopuro called out of the big blind.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Hairabedian led for 550 and Kelopuro folded. Cheong called and the last player called.

The turn was the {Q-Spades} and Hairabedian bet 1,150. Cheong called and the next player raised to 3,800. Hairabedian folded, but Cheong called.

The river completed the board with the {8-Spades} and Cheong checked. His opponent checked.

Cheong tabled the {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and his opponent mucked.
