Rodriguez Takes Two Hits

Nível 24 : 12,000/240,000, 4,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, the turn showed {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Eluterio Rodriguez as well as David Michaud clashed. Michaud ended up as the one at risk for 335,000 and Rodriguez called to table {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Michaud had at least 50% of the pot with {J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for two pair. Rodriguez could only chop it with a king or seven, but instead the {9-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Soon after, short stack Jimmy Tran was all in for 97,000 with {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Rodriguez called with {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. The board came {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Tran spiked a five to double.

"How'd You Get That Hand?"

Nível 24 : 12,000/240,000, 4,000 ante

With over 300,000 already in the middle and the board reading {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Hearts}, Dan Heimiller checked over to Kam Low. Low put out a bet of 175,000 and Heimiller just called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Heimiller checked again over to Low. Low moved all in for close to 600,000 and Heimiller sighed and called. Heimiller turned over {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}.

Low stared intently at Heimiller's hand, making a face. "How'd you get that hand?" Low asked, turning up {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} as well. Nothing changed as the {6-Spades} came on the river and the two chopped the pot.

"You had the only chance to win on the flop," Heimiller said, noting Low's backdoor flush draw.

A Big Shove by Alipourfard

Nível 24 : 12,000/240,000, 4,000 ante

Kam Low raised to 53,000 on the button and Frank Maggio called in the small blind. Mansour Alipourfard in the big blind moved all in for exactly 444,000 and Low quickly folded. Maggio needed longer for his decision and let go as well. The table also features dominating chip leader Dan Heimiller who keeps adding chips to the monster stack.

The Pots Get Bigger

Nível 24 : 12,000/240,000, 4,000 ante

A squeeze to 200,000 was in front of Anthony Licastro and Federico Castaing three-bet to 510,000. Licastro asked to see the stack of his opponent, who had more than 800,000 behind even after his big bet, and Licastro folded.

Over on Table 700, Peter Smaha raised to 100,000 and Mark Lillge three-bet to 310,000 from one seat over. Smaha called and checked the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. Lillge continued for 315,000 and Smaha folded.

Dieter Dechant Takes a Big Pot From Anthony Licastro

Nível 24 : 12,000/240,000, 4,000 ante

With over 500,000 already in the pot, Dieter Dechant faced off against Anthony Licastro in a battle of the blinds. Dechant and Licastro were sitting quiet for a few moments before Dechant stacked his chips and put them all in the middle. Licastro rechecked his cards and pitched them into the muck.

Dechant stood up and fist pumped. "Yes!" he said. "That's the first hand I've played in like three hours."

"Wooo!" One of his fans on the rail cheered. "I'm gonna go get a beer and I'll be back to cheer for you."

With that pot, Dechant moved over 1,000,000 chips while Licastro slipped under the mark after being there since the start of the day.

Richard Mombourquette Exerts Pressure on Kam Low

Nível 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Richard Mombourquette raised to 70,000 from middle position and he was called by Kam Low in position and Gregory Fair from the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Fair checked to Mombourquette. Mombourquette bet 115,000. Low then reraised to 255,000. Fair folded but Mombourquette called.

On the {5-Hearts} turn, Mombourquette put out a bet of 415,000 and that was more than enough to put Low all in. He tanked for about three minutes before finally releasing his hand and awarding the big pot to Mombourquette, while Low was left with under 400,000.
