Abtellatif Flushes Karlins and Niedringhaus

The flop fell and Niedringhaus was excited about having a straight flush draw. Abdellatif replied, "We all have," and Niedringhaus indeed had just one out for the straight flush or running outs for a full house to avoid elimination. Romero Takes Two

James Romero raised and picked up four callers including Sidney Hasson in the blinds. Hasson shoved the flop for 30,000 into a pot of 50,000 and Romero called. After a fold, Rania Nasreddine then shoved over the top and Romero was the only caller.

The on the turn improved nasreddine to a straight, but it was no good as Romero had both opponents drawing dead with a full house. Hasson even made a meaningless flush with the river before heading to the payout desk. There are less than 90 players remaining and they will head into the dinner break at the end of this level.

The Stacks Are Getting Bigger

John Monnette lost the vast majority of his stack when a short stack shoved for 30,000 with pocket jacks and he called with ace-king in the small blind. Michael Krasienko reshoved for 160,000 in the big blind with pocket aces and Monnette called it off. The remaining few chips then went one seat over to James Romero.

Fernandez Loses Small All In
