Hall Makes a Good Fold

Nível 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Galen Hall
Galen Hall

Gary Hansen was in middle position and raised to 7,500. Galen Hall was in the small blind and called, as did the big blind.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Hansen bet 8,500. Hall called and the big blind folded.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and Hall check-called Hansen's bet of 12,000.

The river was the {7-Spades} and Hansen verbalised all in out of turn. Hall then said, "Ok, I'll check." Hansen then said, "I'm still all in." Which was for about 70,000. Hall went into the tank with 51,000 remaining, saying out loud, "How do I fold this?" After deliberating for a couple of minutes, Hall folded, showing his opponent {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Hansen then tabled his hand which was pocket sevens for a rivered set and began to collect his chips.

The Money Bubble has Burst

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Linglin Zeng
Linglin Zeng

With two Eliminations as the tournament went into hand-for-hand play, everyone is now in the money and guaranteed a minimum of $3,758.

In the first hand, Tony Armand was under the gun and pushed in his remaining 1,800 chips. Michael Leibgorin in the hijack called as did the small blind and Luke Graham in the big blind all called 2,400. This created a side pot and Armand was all in for the main.

The flop was {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and all players checked to the turn which was the {7-Hearts}. Graham led out for 5,000 and was called by Leibgorin.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Graham fired out a bet of 7,000 and Leibgorin mucked. Graham tabled {3-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a full house and Armand showed {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for ten-high and was the last elimination before the bubble.

As dealers all stood waiting, a massive pot was brewing on the last table still with a hand in play. Josep Maria Galindo Lopez raised to 6,800 in late position. Linglin Zeng was in the big blind and three-bet to 13,000. Lopez moved all in for roughly 109,000. Zeng tanked for several minutes before she called putting Lopez at risk on the stone cold bubble. Zeng's stack was at roughly 200,000 to start the hand.

Zeng tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Lopez showed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} {q-Spades} {8-Clubs} and Zeng out-ran Lopez to take down the hand and put everyone remaining in the money.

Here's the previous hand with Lopez and Zeng.

Reichenstein and Pirraglia Eliminated

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Eddy Sabat cracks aces just before the money bubble
Eddy Sabat cracks aces just before the money bubble

Salvatore DiCarlo, Uri Reichenstein and Timothy Pirraglia missed out on the money.

Pirraglia three-bet all in for his last 31,800 and initial raiser Eddy Sabat reluctantly called, then rolled over {A-Spades}{10-Spades}. Pirraglia turned over {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and stood up from his seat. "You don't stand up," Sabat said and got a sweat on the {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop.

The {A-Clubs} turn changed nothing, but a cruel {8-Diamonds} hit on the river to eliminate Pirraglia.

Meanwhile Reichenstein's roller coaster ended one table over. He built the stack back up to 80,000, dropped down to 17,000 and now got it in with {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} against the {A-Spades}{9-Hearts} of Carlos Reis. The board came {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Reichenstein also has missed the money.

Dolan Eliminates Macedo

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
John Dolan
John Dolan

John Dolan opened from middle position up to 4,500. Thiago Macedo three-bet to 12,000 from the cutoff. Dolan took about a minute and then moved all in covering Macedo. Macedo didn't hesitate to push in the rest of his chips, which was roughly 40,000.

Dolan tabled {a-Spades}{k-Spades} and Macedo showed {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} and after a friendly flop for Macedo, Dolan rivered a flush, sending him the pot and upping his stack to close to 200,000.

Thomas Doubles Through Reichenstein and Busts Marques

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Tom Thomas
Tom Thomas

A massive pot emerged between Tom Thomas and Uri Reichenstein with more than 60,000 already in the middle on the turn of {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. Thomas moved all in for 82,000 and Reichenstein was sent into the think tank. The clock was called on him and he was given 30 seconds to act per the new rule.

Reichenstein eventually called and tabled {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for top pair and a flush draw, while Thomas had {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for middle set. The {8-Hearts} river bricked and Reichenstein took a massive hit to the stack.

Soon after, Thomas defended his big blind and saw Renato Marques get his stack in after a flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Thomas called with {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Marques had {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. The {4-Diamonds} turn gave Marques some further outs, but the {5-Hearts} river was a blank.
