Short Stacks Survive All-Ins In Consecutive Hands
Dean Kerl got his last 34,000 all in in a three-way pot with Brendan Taylor and Max Kruse. There was no side pot and Taylor and Kruse checked the whole way.
Kerl drew one on each street. Taylor drew three, then two, then one. Kruse drew two and then one on the final two draws. All three players made an eight-seven, but Kerl held the best with and kept his seat.
The next hand Rick Fuller got all in against Jason Riesenberg and Brendan Taylor. There was a small side pot and Fuller was in for his last 18,000.
Riesenberg drew three, then one on the following two streets. Taylor drew two on the first two streets then one. Fuller was pat after the first draw. Taylor finally bet on the river and Riesenberg folded for the side pot, but he had a pair so Fuller won the main pot with [8xx6x5x3x2x] to survive as well.
