In a battle of the blinds, the flop showed K♠9♠4♣ and James Obst bet 45,000. [Removed:422] raised to 155,000 and Obst called.

The 3♠ turn slowed down the action and both checked, which also repeated on the 5♥ river.

Obst tabled his K♣J♣8♠4♦ for kings and fours but Soyirgaz had that beat with the 10♥9♣9♦7♦ for a set of nines.

Tyler Smith, who is sitting on a huge stack, opened the action with a raise to 100,000 from the hijack. Kane Kalas was in the next seat over and three-bet all in for a total of 360,000. Smith made the call and the eight cards were revealed.

With just 41 players left in the field and 30 of them getting paid, the bubble is already nearing. Kalas would still have hope of making the money, however, when his aces held on K♦8♠K♣K♥5♦.

Pärssinen Hits Perfect Runout to Get Value From Dudley

Dash Dudley min-raised the button and earned a call from Eelis Pärssinen out of the big blind. They checked the K♠J♥5♣ flop and Pärssinen then bet the 7♠ turn for 220,000, picking up a call from Dudley.

Pärssinen also bet the 8♠ river for 425,000 and Dudley immediately sighed, then murmured to himself. The reluctant call by Dudley followed and Pärssinen tabled the A♠8♦6♦4♠ for the nut flush.

Loeffler Goes For "All Of It"

Action folded to Kane Kalas in the small blind who raised to 115,000. Kilian Loeffler called in the big blind as they went heads-up to the K♣7♠8♦ flop.

Kalas continued for 90,000 and Loeffler munched down on his fruit cup before moving all in. "All of it," he said, pushing the rest of his 400,000 in the middle.

Kalas quickly mucked as Loeffler took the pot.

Schwartz Chips Up With Aggression

Jesse Lonis raised the pot to 140,000 two hands in a row and collected the blinds as well as the big blind ante.

Noah Schwartz then raised to 115,000 from under the gun, Ian Matakis called from one seat over and Lonis defended the big blind. On a flop of Q♥9♠7♦, Lonis asked for the size of the pot and bet 255,000 into 405,000. Schwartz raised the pot for 955,000 and forced two folds.

Wantman Fires the River Against Lonis

Three-handed on a flop of 6♦J♦6♥, Jesse Lonis bet 240,000 from early position and Matthew Wantman called in the cutoff. Big blind Jim Collopy folded and Lonis and Wantman went heads-up.

Both players checked the A♥ turn before Lonis also checked on the K♠ river. Wantman now fired out 250,000 and Lonis gave it only a brief thought before he mucked.

Smith then raised to 100,000 again and PJ Cha three-bet to the same 360,000 with 100,000 behind. This time, Smith called and bet the K♥10♠9♦ flop for 100,000, Cha called all-in.

Smith had two back door flush draws but the J♦ turn and 8♠ river were no sweat.

Cha doubled while Joao Vieira lost the remainder of his short stack one table over to reduce the field to the last 39 contenders.
