Action was three ways with 2♠8♦7♥ on the flop when Ari Engel checked from the small blind. A player in the big blind tossed out 300 and his opponent in the next seat over called before Engel came along.
All three players checked the J♥ turn to see K♦ on the river and Engel tossed out 1,500. The big blind called before the third player ducked out of the way and Engel turned over his cards.
He tabled 10♣9♥6♣3♥ gave Engel the jack-high straight for the high and 8-7-6-3-2 for the low to scoop the pot and the big blind tossed the losing hand in the muck.
Meanwhile, Stephen Moreschi and Yueqi "Rich" Zhu have taken their seats. There are currently 417 runners in the tournament at the halfway point of Level 1.
