The Chad & Jesse Poker Show
The Chad & Jesse Poker Show

In the sixth episode of The Chad & Jesse Poker Show, Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen are joined by GGPoker Ambassador Jason Koon, who took some time before jumping into the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $250,000 Super High Roller.

Koon talks about expecting his second child, and as fate would have it, the day after recording his wife went into labor and he had to pull out of the aforementioned tournament. In addition to sharing what it's like being a family man, Koon discusses integrity in poker, his personal goals, and a never-before-shared prop bet he has with Bill Perkins.

Koon, who currently sits fifth on the all-time poker money list according to The Hendon Mob with nearly $48 million, also discusses his love of poker history, shares a Doyle Brunson story, and just opens up about poker and life. Don't miss your chance to hear from one of the best.

Barber Gives Opponent a Clean Fade

Nível 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Big O

The player under the gun limped before seeing the button player raise. The small blind called along with Andrew Barber in the big blind and the player under the gun to send four players to a flop of 410K.

The small blind, Barber and the under-the-gun player all checked to the button who put out a bet. Barber called to see the dealer put the 2 out on the turn with action checking through to the 8 river.

Barber checked to the button who tossed out a bet. Barber decided the bet from the button wasn't enough and answered back by saying, "Pot."

The button called and Barber turned over the AK5XxXx for the nut flush and the second nut low, good enough to see his opponent muck his cards and scoop the pot.

Schuster Almost Has Quads, Ends Up With Full House

Nível 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Big O

"Put this online. Take a picture," tablemate Kao "Flexx" Saechao said as James Schuster was all in before the flop on a short stack. Mark Erickson in early position had him at risk.

The board read KQQA10 and Erickson turned over K8332 for the running flush. Schuster, though, had AAA1010 for the full house. "He thinks he's playing five-card," Saechao joked as Schuster had three aces in his hand to go with the one on the board.

The next hand, Schuster raised to 1,300 and received two calls from Bob Mather and Erickson. All three players checked the K58 flop before Erickson bet 2,300 on the J turn.

Only Mather called to see the 3 river, where Erickson, who finished sixth in this event last year, won the pot with a bet of 8,000.

Martini Shakes His Opponent Up

Nível 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Action folded to Jim Martini who came in for a raise. The small blind and big blind called and sent three players to a 6Q3 flop.

The blinds checked over to Martini who tossed out a bet that got a fold out of the small blind before the big blind put in a call to see the J hit the turn.

The player in the small blind took the lead and tossed out a bet only to see Martini come back at him with a second bet. The big blind called and the dealer peeled the J off the deck and put it on the river.

Action checked through and Martini turned over AK109 for the nut flush on a board with no qualifying low.

The big blind showed the Q9 from his hand for a lesser flush before tossing his cards into the muck.

Judah's Aces Hold In Three-Way All In

Nível 3 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Big O

A player in the small blind raised to 3,700 and was called by Gabe Ramos under the gun before Mel Judah, next to act, attempted to move all in. The pot was counted down and it was determined Judah could only raise to 15,800.

The small blind then shoved all in for 20,300 and Ramos called, as did Judah.

The flop came K49 and Judah immediately put in his last 2,000 chips as Ramos called to create a massive three-way all in.

Small Blind: 75342
Mel Judah: AA864
Gabe Ramos: AQJ73

Judah was ahead with his aces and the rest of the board came 5K, keeping him in front and securing him the double up through Ramos, while the small blind was sent to an early exit.
