Glaser Regains the Lead After Failed Check-Raise by Johansson

Oscar Johansson has held the lead for the last few hours, but Benny Glaser has gradually chipped away at him and has now regained the chip lead he held at the start of the day.

Johansson raised in the cutoff and got a call from Glaser on the button. Each player drew two and Johansson check-called a bet from Glaser.

Johansson drew two again while Glaser only needed one.

Another check from Johansson was followed by a bet from Glaser, but Johansson now check-raised, which gave Glaser some pause, but he made the call and then patted behind after Johansson patted in front of him.

Johansson checked the final betting round and after Glaser bet, Johansson gave it some thought and then folded his hand, sending a pot to Glaser that gives him back the chip lead.

Rodrigues Doubles Through Ryynanen

After Sampo Ryynanen raised in the cutoff, Michael Rodrigues three-bet on the button, leaving himself 75,000 behind. Ryynanen called and each player drew two.

Ryynanen then bet, Rodrigues immediately raised all in, and Ryynanen called. Ryynanen was initially in better shape, drawing one versus Rodrigues' two.

On the final draw however, Ryynanen patted and Rodrigues patted behind, which drew an 'uh oh' from Ryynanen who hesitantly showed Jx9x7x3x2x, which was no good against Rodrigues' 8x7x5x3x2x to send a double-up his way.

Ryynanen Rebuilds Through Glaser

Despite the disadvantage in the draw, Glaser led out with a bet, which Ryynanen just called. Each player then drew one.

Glaser now check-called a bet from Ryynanen as he hadn't improved further, needing to draw one again while Ryynanen was pat.

On the end, Glaser checked again and faced another bet from Ryynanen.

Glaser went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally clicking the proverbial 'call' button to see Ryynanen's 8x7x6x4x3x for the winner, which gave Ryynanen a pot that sneaks him closer to Glaser in the chip counts.
