A short-stacked Julien Martini raised under the gun and got three-bet by Benny Glaser on the button. Martini four-bet and Glaser called.
Martini stood pat, while Glaser needed two cards. Martini bet and Glaser inquired as to the size of Martini's remaining stack, which was 70,000 chips.
From there, Glaser raised, Martini put in the rest and Glaser called to put Martini at risk.
After Martini patted again, Glaser now stood pat as well. This led Martini to break his hand and take one on the final draw.
Glaser revealed number two, 7x6x4x3x2x, and after a quick peek at his cards, Martini mucked his hand, shook hands and fist-bumped his now former tablemates, and headed to the payout desk to collect his $75,341 payday.

Rodrigues and Ryynanen both drew two on the first draw and Johansson drew one. Rodrigues checked to Johansson, who bet. Ryynanen raised and Rodrigues called cold. Johansson made it three bets to go and both Ryynanen and Rodrigues called.
Rodrigues and Ryynanen stood pat, while Johansson drew one on the second draw. Rodrigues bet, Johansson called, and Ryynanen called all in for less.
On the final draw, Rodrigues remained pat and Johansson drew one. Johansson folded facing a bet from Rodrigues, who turned over 7x6x5x3x2x. Ryynanen had Rodrigues beat, however, with the 7x6x4x3x2x and he tripled up.

The 2023 World Series of Poker is soon to enter its fourth week of festivities, and the contest for WSOP Player of the Year is starting to heat up.
Chad Eveslage was the early frontrunner because of his back-to-back bracelet victories. However, Ian Matakis and Shaun Deeb have surpassed the only double bracelet winner of the series, thanks to a recent run of fine results.
Michael Moncek has also shot up from sixth to fourth in the POY standings after he came close to grabbing his second bracelet of the series in the $10,000 Razz Championship.
Jans Arends rounds out the top five following his sun run in some of the high roller bracelet events. The Dutch poker pro finished in third place in the $50,000 High Roller days before taking down the $100,000 High Roller for $2,576,729, the biggest payout of the 2023 WSOP so far.
