Ren Lin raised from the cutoff and was called by Jon Turner in the small blind and Mike Lang in the big blind. Lin drew one, Turner drew three and Lang drew two.

Turner checked after the first draw and Lang fired a bet, receiving a call from both of his opponents. Turner drew three while both of his opponents stood pat.

Lang bet again after the second draw and received a call from Lin while Turner folded. Both remaining players stood pat.

With no draws remaining Lang bet once more. Lin raised it to two big bets and Lang made the call.

Lin showed 7x6x5x3x2x for the second best possible hand to scoop a nice pot.

Chung Sends Hoffman Out

Max Hoffman was already all in by the final draw against Christopher Chung.

Both players drew one. Chung held 6x4x3x2x against Hoffman's 5x4x3x2x. Chung flipped over a 7x, leaving Hoffman drawing to a seven only.

It wasn't meant to be, as Hoffman tabled an Ax and he was sent to the rail.

After the first draw Seiver took the initiative with a bet and Johnson made the call. Seiver drew one and Johnson drew two.

Seiver bet again after the second draw and Johnson called. Both players took one.

With no draws remaining Seiver check-called a bet from Johnson who showed 8x6x4x3x2x to win the pot.

Johansson and Lin both drew one, while Lang drew two. All three players then checked.

The same drawing action occurred on the second draw, but this time Johansson led out for a bet. Lin raised and Lang folded. Johansson called.

Johansson stood pat on the final draw and Lin drew one. Both players checked on the end and Lin tabled 8x7x6x4x2x first. However, Johansson had Lin pipped with the 8x7x5x3x2x and he added to his ever growing stack late in Day 1.
