Seiver Wins The Biggest Pot Of The Tournament

Nível 30 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Scott Seiver raised to 500,000 in the small blind and in the big blind, Sergio Aido defended.

The flop came out {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Aido called a 250,000 continuation-bet from Seiver.

The turn came out an {a-Hearts} and this time Seiver checked to Aido who bet 450,000 on the turn, which Seiver called.

The river came out the {5-Spades} which saw Seiver check once more to Aido who bet 1,400,000. Seiver responded by moving all-in for 2,350,000 sending Aido into the tank. After roughly five minutes the clock was called on Aido who thought a little bit longer before tossing his hand into the muck and giving Seiver the biggest pot of the tournament yet.

Nick Schulman

Nick Schulman moved all-in for 1,100,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Sergio Aido in the big blind who called.

Nick Schulman: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Sergio Aido: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came safe for Schulman with {7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, but the turn {q-Hearts} drilled Aido and Schulman left, unimproved on the {3-Spades} river, in 6th place.

Lewis Spencer

Lewis Spencer moved his remaining 525,000 into the center from the hijack and was looked up by only Scott Seiver on the button.

Lewis Spencer: {k-Spades}{3-Spades}
Scott Seiver: {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The flop of {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts} brought no help to Spencer, but the turn {j-Spades} provided him additional outs in the form of a flush draw. The river came off an {8-Hearts}, leaving Seiver's ace-high as best and Spencer exited the tournament in 7th place.

Chris Hunichen

Scott Seiver raised to 240,000 from early position and was called by David Goodman on the button. Chris Hunichen moved all in for 2,300,000 from the small blind. Seiver folded and Goodman snap called to put Hunichen at risk.

Chris Hunichen: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
David Goodman: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Hunichen was behind with only three immediate outs and failed to find any help on the {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop. The {8-Diamonds} turn left him drawing to an ace or the final four in the deck but could not find it on the {5-Hearts} river. Hunichen receives $30,478 for his efforts.

Scott Seiver

Only ten players remain in Event #3: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em from a starting field of 732 with a gold bracelet and $320,059 on the line for whoever comes out on top.

Currently it is Scott Seiver, hunting for his fourth gold bracelet, who leads the way with 6,150,000. Seiver enjoyed a late rush on Day 2, eliminating Jan Bednar and Shawn Daniels in 12th and 11th place respectively to bring that day’s action to a close and set the stage for the final ten players. David Goodman, sitting on a stack of 4,100,00, is the closest to catching Seiver. Other notables to make the final day include Spanish high roller regular Sergio Aido (2,570,000) and poker commentator Nick Schulman (1,415,000).
