Hands #74-78: A Double and Some More for Secilmis

Nível 38 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Hand #74: Hye Park raised to 2,400,000 and won the blinds and big blind ante.

Hand #75: Koray Aldemir raised to 2,400,000 from under the gun to collect the blinds and big blind ante.

Hand #76: Ozgur Secilmis jammed for the final 5,300,000 in the hijack and was called by Aldemir in the big blind.

Ozgur Secilmis: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Koray Aldemir: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop improved Secilmis to the superior pair and the {j-Hearts} turn changed nothing whatsoever. Another blank came on the {3-Clubs} river as Secilmis doubled his severe short stack once more.

Hand #77: Park made it 2,400,000 to go on the button and Jack Oliver defended the big blind. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Oliver checked his option and Park took 45 seconds before leading for 1,800,000. The call by Oliver followed, who then checked again the {2-Hearts} on the turn and was checked back by Park.

On the {6-Clubs} river, both players checked and Oliver won the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for the top pair.

Hand #78: Oliver limped the small blind and Secilmis checked his option in the big blind. The {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop brought a bet worth 1,200,000 by Oliver and Secilmis called. After the {4-Diamonds} turn, both players checked and the {3-Hearts} river completed the board.

Oliver now checked once more and Secilmis bet 3,800,000 for Oliver to fold.

Hye Park Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,400,000)

Nível 38 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Hye Park
Hye Park

Hand #82: Hye Park limped in from the small blind and Koray Aldemir raised to 3,800,000 in the big blind. Park limp-shoved all in for 20,600,000 and Aldemir snap-called it off.

Hye Park: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Koray Aldemir: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The crowd roared as Aldemir found himself in a position to knock yet another player out and add to his massive piles. The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and the German rail yelled for the appropriate Broadway cards to swing Aldemir into the lead.

That happened exactly when the {q-Hearts} hit the felt on the turn, pairing Aldemir up and giving Park just the two remaining sevens to save his Main Event.

The dealer burned and turned the {9-Diamonds} on the river for Park made his way to the exit to collect the sixth place prize of $1,400,000. Aldemir now has over 60% of the chips in play and five times the stack of his nearest challenger.

Hands #83-86: Holmes Jams Into Aldemir

Nível 38 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
George Holmes
George Holmes

Hand #83: Joshua Remitio raised to 2,400,000 on the button and Jack Oliver came along out of the big blind. The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {7-Hearts} turn. Oliver now led for 1,200,000 and received a call, which led them to the {6-Hearts} on the river. Oliver bet once more, making it 2,000,000 to go. Remetio called after 59 seconds and Oliver tabled the {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} as the winning hand.

Hand #84: Koray Aldemir opened to 2,400,000 on the button and Ozgur Secilmis defended the big blind for the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop to appear. The check of Secilmis was followed by a bet worth 1,300,000 by Aldemir and that won the pot.

Hand #85: Aldemir raised it up to 2,400,000 in the cutoff and George Holmes three-bet to 6,400,000 from the big blind. Aldemir briefly eyeballed the stack of his opponent and sent the cards into the muck.

Hand #86: From the under-the-gun position, Aldemir made it 2,400,000 to go and Holmes called out of the small blind this time. The {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop was checked by Holmes and Aldemir continued for 2,900,000. Holmes then check-raised to 8,000,000 and Aldemir called after 48 seconds.

On the {j-Diamonds} turn, Holmes took one minute and 23 seconds before making it 13,000,000 to go. Aldemir took just over a minute and called to see the {a-Diamonds} on the river. Holmes jammed for 32,700,000 and Aldemir folded near instantly.

Hand #87: Second to act, Ozgur Secilmis open-shoved for 13,000,000 and picked up the blinds and ante.

Hand #88: Secilmis shoved again, this time from under the gun, for 16,000,000 total. George Holmes called one seat over and all other players folded.

Ozgur Secilmis: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
George Holmes: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Never a sweat for Secilmis on a {3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades} board and he got an easy double-up.

Hand #89: Jack Oliver raised to 3,000,000 in the small blind and Secilmis called with his newfound chips. The flop was {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Oliver checked. Secilmis bet 3,000,000 and Oliver folded.

Hand #90: Koray Aldemir made it 2,400,000 from the cutoff and Holmes defended the big blind. Holmes checked the {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop to Aldemir, who checked behind.

The {7-Spades} on the turn prompted a bet of 2,000,000 from Holmes and Aldemir folded.
